The DOHA is hosting a digital Medical Costs Finder information session on Wednesday 15 November 2023 from 12:30 – 1.30pm (AEDT) specifically for private hospital administrators and medical specialists. The purpose of the session is to learn more about the Medical Costs Finder website (for patients) and portal (for specialists) and how easy it is to sign-up. The Medical Costs Finder will assist patients to understand the costs for private specialist care earlier in their health care journey, and to confidently participate in financial consent conversations to avoid surprises.

Medical specialists can receive live support to sign-up, if they come prepared with:
- your PRODA or myGovID login details
- your national AHPRA registration number
- one active, 8-digit Medicare provider number
